What is the Law Admission Test?
The Law Admission Test (LAT) is an entrance test that is conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The core purpose of the law admission test is to examine the eligibility of the students who want to seek admission to five-year undergraduate LLB programs in various universities and law colleges across the country.
The LAT evaluates a candidate’s aptitude and knowledge in areas such as English grammar, general knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies/Ethics, Urdu, and basic mathematics. The test aims to assess applicants’ critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to determine their suitability for pursuing a legal education.
